About Ayelet Gal-on

Ayelet is an experimental and a visual story teller.   She is painting representational and expressive paintings .

Ayelet is part of the vibrant Alameda Artworks community in San Jose and Gallery 9 in Los Altos. She participated in numerous events and won prestigious awards.

Ayelet wants viewers of her art to be intrigued, ask questions and become involved with the artwork. She aims to touch and to tell a story that lies beyond the surface.
Over the years Ayelet developed a deep fascination with color and texture, exploring techniques from using raw pigments to state of the art paints. She learned how to communicate her ideas using different mediums and how to use color and texture to express the concepts she explores with her art.

She took art classes in bay area community colleges, Palo Alto art center and private tutoring with prominent bay area artists.

Earlier she studied science and technology and worked in the high tech industry in various roles throughout the years. In that time art was her passion providing her with an outlet to express her creativity.

Ayelet is an avid museum visitor and takes her inspiration from many artists. One can find echoes of impressionism like Toulouse-Lautrec and women artists such Frida Kahlo and Georgia O'Keeffe in her work as well as the old masters.
